Did my interval runs this morning. And while I was midway my first speed interval, I felt a small pebble inside my right foot… and it sure was painful! But since I didn’t want to stop or slow down, I just went on and decided to remove the pebble once I slowed down during my rest interval.
However, since the pebble was really bugging me… i wanted the interval to be done quicker… so I ran faster! And that segment turned out to be my fastest interval! Sure made me think… might that be the secret to running faster?
Put a pebble in your shoe…
