The human body is weird.

Why is that when I’m supposed to be well-rested (no running the past few days), that’s when I feel sluggish, lazy and well… tired? On the other hand, why is that after a nice 5 or 10 km run – when I’m supposed to be tired – that’s when I feel so refreshed and energized? Like I said… weird 😀

  1. It’s an enigma — the more you pump oxygen — the more energetic you become — even though you think you’ve exerted so much energy pumping all that oxygen!!! That’s why we run!!


  2. that is why you have to run at least 30 minutes during the day when it is supposed to be your rest day so that you don’t feel lazy & sluggish. our coaches call this run as “active recovery” run. well, as they say, running is addictive!

    i agree. it’s just probably withdrawal symptoms 😀

    the less you do, the less you want to do anything at all
